Bloomberg has reported that sources indicate the Chinese military has made significant progress in developing a hypersonic glide vehicle capable of launching air-to-air weapons. This advancement allows for the potential to threaten high-value targets, such as command and control aircraft, from thousands of kilometers away. This breakthrough is seen as part of a broader military strategy in China, aiming to enhance the application of its extensive missile arsenal across nearly all military operations. Currently, China is known to possess the world's largest missile arsenal, comprising over 3,150 ballistic missiles.
