The Ministry of Health and Welfare has entered into an MOU with Roche Diagnostic Equipment Company to advance the use of artificial intelligence in clinical decision support for kidney diseases. This collaboration aims to leverage Taiwan's established medical data infrastructure alongside international digital health expertise. The initial focus is on chronic kidney disease, where both parties will work together to establish risk stratification and warning mechanisms for renal function deterioration. The partnership will be driven through a public-private model to enhance the effectiveness of AI in clinical settings.
